UpMerch provides end-to-end booth and merch management, including warehousing, inventory tracking, shipping, returns, and post-event care. We handle the logistics so your team can focus on executing a successful event.
What happens to our materials between events?
We inspect equipment, repack and protect materials, track remaining inventory, and coordinate professional dry cleaning and steaming of linens. Your materials stay organized, visible, and professionally maintained at all times.
What types of materials can UpMerch store?
We warehouse booth structures, displays, tents, signage, tablecloths, linens, tech equipment, accessories, swag, promotional merchandise, and printed materials. All items are securely stored and kept event-ready between shows.
Are there any shipping limitations?
Same-day and time-specific deliveries are not available, and if early venue delivery is restricted, your team must coordinate an alternate pickup location. UpMerch is not responsible for carrier delays.
How does the shipping and return process work?
Submit shipping requests at least 7 calendar days before your event, and we recommend delivery 2 business days before show start. After the event, you repack the materials using the pre-provided return label, and we inspect and reorganize everything upon arrival.
What are the return requirements?
Materials must be returned clean, organized, and complete, with tech accessories in original or equivalent packaging. Damaged, unclean, or incomplete returns may result in additional fees.
What is included in the flat-rate Trade Show Box pricing?
The flat rate includes ground shipping to your event, return shipping to UpMerch HQ, receiving, secure storage, inventory management, packaging, inspection, labor, and ongoing support. It also covers professional dry cleaning and steaming and access to your Merch Storage Dashboard.

Merch Drop

Overview
A Merch Drop is a short-term campaign offering limited-edition products, typically open for fewer than 10 days to create urgency. After the campaign ends, items are produced in bulk based on orders and shipped to customers, with no additional orders accepted once the countdown expires.

Cost
Merch Drops require a minimum of 25 units per product, defined by a single color. Different colors of the same item count as separate products and must each meet the 25-unit minimum. Customers can pay for products and shipping at checkout, with no cost to your organization unless a product fails to meet the minimum.

Overview
UpMerch is currently developing a proprietary platform designed to centralize and streamline merchandise operations. This platform will feature real-time inventory management, order tracking, and a built-in approval workflow tailored to support internal team processes.
Timeline
Phase I of the new UpMerch platform is scheduled for launch in Q4 2025. At that point, onboarding will begin and users can start accessing the platform’s core features.
Cost
UpMerch does not charge any fees for access to our software, including the Merch Store, Claim Page, Merch Storage Dashboard, or any related platform features.
Our billing is strictly limited to manual and physical services, such as actual product costs, pick and pack fees, shipping, and Merch Storage.

Cost
UpMerch charges only for the physical handling and movement of products. Specifically, the following fees apply:
- Warehousing – Storage fees apply only after the first 6 months of free storage
- Fulfillment – Charged per item picked and packed per order
- Packaging – Standard poly mailers are free; other packaging materials are additional
- Shipping – Based on destination, weight, and shipping method
